WHEN COVID-19 STRIKES, STIE LEAPS INTO ACTION…..

Singapore was forced into a lockdown “Circuit Breaker” from 7 April 2020, for 2 months, as it tried to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

STIE sprung into action by acting as Specialist Turnkey Contractor for the Health Promotion Board, and Raffles Medical Group at the F1 Pit Building, Float@Marina, and many dormitories.

STIE’s scope included;

- Planning of layouts for Swabbing Centres (“SC”) and Vaccination Centres (“VC”)

- Supply and setting up of applicable equipment to operate the SC and VC

- Day-to-day management of the facilities of the SC and VC to ensure smooth daily operations.
